ดีป้า จับมือพันธมิตร ล้อมวงหารือ 'การใช้ดิจิทัลส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ในศตวรรษที่21'ผลักดัน CodingThailand.org เป็นแพลตฟอร์มเพื่อการเรียนรู้แห่งอนาคต

     สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) หรือ ดีป้า กระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ร่วมกับพันธมิตรด้านการศึกษาและเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลประกอบด้วย Code.org , ไมโครซอฟท์ (ประเทศไทย) , สถาบันเทคโนโลยีเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง , Microbit.org และ บริษัท อักษร เอ็ดดูเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) ล้อมวงพูดคุยในประเด็น’การใช้ดิจิทัลเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ในศตวรรษที่ 21’มุ่งสนับสนุนให้ “ดิจิทัล” เป็นตัวกลางในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และพัฒนากำลังคนดิจิทัล โดยผลักดันให้ www.CodingThailand.org เป็นโลกของการศึกษายุคดิจิทัลที่พร้อมพัฒนากำลังคนและบุคลากรดิจิทัลให้กับประเทศไทยในยุคสังคมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล ด้วยความร่วมมือของทุกภาคส่วน โดยตั้งเป้าเข้าถึงเยาวชน จำนวน 6 ล้านราย และ ขยายผลต่อเนื่องกว่า 10 ล้านรายทั่วประเทศภายใน 3 ปี

     ดร.ณัฐพล นิมมานพัชรินทร์ ผู้อำนวยการดีป้า กล่าวว่า “โครงการ Coding Thailand เป็นโครงการสำคัญของกระทรวงดีอี และ ดีป้า ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการพัฒนากำลังคนด้านดิจิทัล ด้วยการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล รวมถึงฝึกฝนกระบวนการคิดอย่างเป็นระบบซึ่งเป็นทักษะพื้นฐานสำคัญของการเรียนรู้ในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21 โดยดีป้า ได้เปิดตัวแพลตฟอร์ม www.CodingThailand.org ในเฟสแรกไปเมื่อวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งมีพันธมิตรที่เป็นต้นแบบหลักสูตรอย่าง Code.org องค์กรไม่แสวงหากำไรจากสหรัฐอมเริกา พร้อมบูรณาการความร่วมมือกับภาคเอกชน อย่าง ไมโครซอฟท์ กูเกิล ซิสโก้ อักษรเอ็ดดูเคชั่น ฯลฯ เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ ซึ่งกลุ่มเป้าหมายสำคัญของโครงการ คือ เยาวชน ซึ่งเป็นทรัพยากรสำคัญของประเทศ รวมถึงกลุ่มโรงเรียน ครู อาจารย์ ผู้ปกครอง ซึ่งจะเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนเยาวชนไทยของเรา

     โดยระยะเวลาประมาณ 4 เดือนหลักจากเปิดตัว ดีป้า มุ่งสร้างความตระหนักและส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้วิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ ผ่าน www.CodingThailand.org โดยมีผู้เรียนรู้ผ่านแพลตฟอร์มแล้วกว่า 6 แสนราย นอกจากนี้ ดีป้า ยังมีการสร้างประสบการณ์ด้านโค้ดดิ้งให้แก่เยาวชนทั้งส่วนกลางและส่วนภูมิภาค กับงาน Digital Thailand Big Bang 2018 ซึ่งมีน้องๆเยาวชนได้เข้ามาเรียนรู้การเป็น Coder และ Maker ผ่านกิจกรรมเวิร์คช็อป และ กิจกรรมการแข่งขัน กว่า 2,600 ราย และ มีผู้ชมผ่านออนไลน์ในช่วงการจัดงานฯ อีกกว่า 60,040 ครั้ง สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความตื่นตัวและความสนใจในการเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ของเยาวชนไทย ซึ่ง ดีป้า จะยังคงเดินหน้าผลักดันให้ Coding Thailand เป็นแพลตฟอร์มแห่งการเรียนรู้ด้านทักษะดิจิทัล โดยตั้งเป้าเข้าถึงเยาวชนกว่า 6 ล้านรายในปี 2562 และขยายสู่ 10 ล้านรายภายใน 3 ปี”

      “ในส่วนของการหารือความร่วมมือกันในวันนี้ จะเป็นการบูรณาการจุดแข็งและประสบการณ์ของทุกภาคส่วนเพื่อร่วมกันผลักดันให้ Coding Thailand เป็นต้นแบบของแพลตฟอร์มการเรียนรู้ในประเทศไทยที่จะใช้ในการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาทักษะด้านดิจิทัลในอนาคต โดยบทบาทสำคัญของดีป้าอย่างหนึ่งคือ ส่งเสริมทักษะด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ให้กับกำลังคนดิจิทัลของ ประเทศไทย ผ่านแพลตฟอร์ม CodingThailand.org ซึ่งจะมีกิจกรรมกระตุ้นและส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ ทั้งในรูปแบบเชิงรุกโดยมุ่งมั่นในการ เข้าถึงโรงเรียนและกลุ่มเป้าหมาย จำนวน 2,000 โรงเรียน หรือประมาณ 200,000 คน และยังมีรูปแบบกิจกรรมเรียนรู้เชิงสร้างสรรค์อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยกิจกรรมที่กำลังจะมาถึง คือ Coding Thailand Online Quiz & Challenge กิจกรรมส่งเสริมเรียนรู้แบบสนุกๆ กับการแก้โจทย์ด้วยบล็อคโค้ด ผ่านแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ www.CodingThailand.org ชิงทุนการศึกษาและรางวัลรวมมูลค่ากว่า 600,000 บาท โดยตั้งเป้าผู้ลงทะเบียนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมไม่น้อยกว่า 2,500 ราย ทั่วประเทศ”

       ดร.ณัฐพล กล่าวต่อว่า “Code.org หนึ่งในพันธมิตรสำคัญจะมีบทบาทในการสนับสนุนเนื้อหาการเรียนรู้และแพลตฟอร์มการเรียนรู้ระดับโลก และถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ในการส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนและบุคลากรทางการศึกษาสามารถเข้าถึงหลักสูตรการเรียนรู้ต่างๆได้โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย โดยมีนักเรียนกว่า 25 ล้านคน และ ครูราว 800,000 จากกว่า 180 ประเทศทั่วโลก ได้เคยเรียนรู้บนแพลตฟอร์มของ Code.org สำหรับ Microbit.org ก็มีบทบาทสำคัญในการต่อยอดทักษะวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ขั้นพื้นฐาน สู่การสร้างสรรค์ นวัตกรรมและโครงงาน ในกลุ่มเยาวชนและโรงเรียน เพื่อเป็นการพัฒนาพื้นฐานด้านความคิด พัฒนาทักษะ และ กระบวนการทางความคิด

      นอกจากนี้ ยังมีหน่วยงานที่มีความร่วมมือกับดีป้าได้แก่ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง ร่วมมือในด้านการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ผ่าน CodingThailand.org สู่โรงเรียนกว่า 2,000 โรงเรียนทั่วประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและบูรณาการการเรียนรู้จากแพลตฟอร์มสู่อุปกรณ์สมาร์ตดีไวซ์เพื่อการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานหรือนวัตกรรม ขณะที่ไมโครซอฟท์ (ประเทศไทย) ร่วมจับมือใน กิจกรรม Hour of Code 2018 ในช่วงเดือนธันวาคม เพื่อกระตุ้นให้เยาวชนไทยมีความสนใจด้านวิทยาศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์ผ่านการเขียนโค้ดขั้นพื้นฐาน สุดท้ายคือ อักษร เอ็ดดูเคชั่น ซึ่งได้รับการแต่งตั้งจาก Code.org ให้เป็น International Professional Development Partner จะร่วมสนับสนุนด้านหลักสูตรการเรียนรู้ให้เหมาะกับบริบทในประเทศไทย โดยการพูดคุยกันในวันนี้เพื่อการบูรณาการและกำหนดเป็นแนวทางสำคัญในการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลซึ่งเป็นทักษะสำคัญและจำเป็นในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21”

depa teams up with alliances to discuss “Digital as learning tools in 21st Century”

to turn CodingThailand.org into a future knowledge platform

     Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES) by Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) along with education and digital technology alliances including Code.org, Microsoft (Thailand), King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Microbit.org and Aksorn Education PLC managed to run a forum “Digital as learning tools in 21st Century” to promote “digital” as media to enhance learning skills and develop digital manpower by turning www.CodingThailand.org into digital learning realm to leverage the country’s workforce and digital manpower. With supports from every sector, the project aims to reach 6 million of Thai youth and over 10 million nationwide within 3 years.

        Dr.Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/ CEO of depa stated that “Coding Thailand is a project of great importance for MDES and depa to promote digital manpower by computer and digital technology enhancement, where systematic learning is considered a core competency in 21st century. depa launched the first phrase of www.CodingThailand.org platform on June 6, 2018 with mutual supports from curriculum developer like Code.org, a American non-governmental organization, and private sectors i.e. Microsoft, Google, Cisco and Aksorn Education to promote computer-enhanced skills. The project’s target groups are the youth, who are considered the country’s valuable resources and their major supporting agents including schools, teachers, professors and last but not the least, their parents. 4 months after the launch, depa focusing on raising public awareness and promoting computer learning through www.CodingThailand.org could provide the learning platform to over 600,000 youth. The organization also allowed the young generations in Central Thailand and upcountry to enjoy a free coding session in Digital Thailand Big Bang 2018. Over 2,600 Thai youth had an experience to become a coder and maker through several workshops and competitions with over 60,400 online viewers during the event. The number shows that our society are aware and become interested in computer learning. In the light of this, depa will go forward to promoting Coding Thailand to become a new platform for digital learning targeting to reach 6 million youth in 2019 and over 10 million within 3 years from now.”

    “Today’s forum is the integration of strength and experiences shared by every participant to have Coding Thailand become a model for learning platform in Thailand to develop learning curve and digital skill enhancement in the future. One of depa’s key mission is to promote digital learning skill for Thailand’s digital manpower via CodingThailand.org through several educational activities targeting to reach 2,000 schools or 200,000 students, not to mention many more creative learning opportunities to come. The upcoming event is Coding Thailand Online Quiz & Challenge, a fun game of block code competition via online platform www.CodingThailand.org to win a scholarship and huge rewards of over THB 600,000. The event aims to have over 2,500 registered competitors nationwide.”

      Dr.Nuttapon confirmed that “Code.org, one of our major alliance, will take a leading role in curriculum development and universal learning platform to transfer their experience in providing students and scholars a free access to all curriculum. Over 25 million students and 800,000 teachers from over 180 countries around the world enjoyed the free session on Code.org platform while Microbit.org will be our strength in leveraging fundamental computer skills to creative, innovation and workshops among the young generations and schools to develop basic thinking, skills and systematic reasoning. Other organization to join force with depa’s Coding Thailand.org platform include King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, who offers an integration of digital technology from platform to smart devices to develop new tools or innovations. In the meantime, Microsoft (Thailand) will join “Hour of Coding 2018” in December to encourage Thai youngster interested in computer to experience basic coding session. Last but not the least, Aksorn Education PLC, appointed by Code.org as the project’s International Professional Development Partner, will support us in terms of core curriculum appropriate to Thai social context. The forum today will be set as a guideline in digital learning development and digital technology, which would absolutely become a skills of great importance for those in 21st century.”
